Millennium Plus Features
Delivery Tracking This feature will provide a location report anytime the vehicle stops for a predetermined amount of time and immediately upon departure. A location report provides a date / time-stamped line item entry in the vehicle's history report, which can be reviewed by the fleet manager at anytime. See vehicle history report
Location Request This feature allows you to locate the vehicle on demand. An on-screen street map or photo overlay will show where your vehicle is, within feet with its heading and speed.
Unlock Doors This feature allows you to unlock the doors of your vehicle. For example, you can unlock your vehicle before you leave the shelter of a store during rainy weather when your key fob doesn't have the range to unlock your car or if you accidently lock your keys in.
Starter Disable This feature allows you to immobilize a vehicle once the ignition is off. If there is unauthorized use of your vehicle, disabling the starter is the safest way to insure that the vehicle won't move after it is turned off.
Fastest Speed of the Day This feature allows you to see what the fastest speed was in the last 24 hours.
Speed Threshold Violation This feature informs you if your vehicle exceeds a preset speed for over 30 seconds. For example, if your vehicle exceeds 80 miles per hour, you will get an email, phone call, or both. You can also see the location of the vehicle when the violation occurred.
Set / Clear Geofence This feature allows you to set a 'fence' around your vehicle anytime it's stationary. If your vehicle is moved outside the fence, the Unit will alert you via email, telephone, or both.
Vehicle History Request View the past actions your Unit has used for your vehicle. Each time an action takes place, the event is recorded in your history report.
Incremental Tracking Set a time interval and monitor the location of a vehicle on a map at each of those time intervals
Scheduled Mileage Report This feature reports the distance that the vehicle has traveled on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
State Mileage Report This feature reports the mileage within a state border, allowing the fleet manager to easily compile fuel tax reports for OTR operations.
Cumulative Mileage Report This feature will let you know when your vehicle has traveled a preset number of miles. For example, you may receive an email each time your vehicle travels 3000 miles.
Engine On / Off Time This feature sends a message to you whenever your vehicle has run or been off for a cumulative number of hours. Useful in construction, where machinery is maintained based on the total number of hours that it has been running instead of the number of miles traveled.
Ignition On / Off Report Receive a report each time the vehicle is turned on or off.
Extra Output/Input This feature allows you to enable and disable the starter, to monitor the car alarm, or access some aftermarket accessories in your vehicle. (Some capabilities may require extra equipment)
Scheduled Features Activation This feature allows the owner to disable and enable the vehicle starter and / or geofence automatically at scheduled times. For example: disable the starter at 6 pm and enable it at 5:30 am.

Teen Drivers: Fact Sheet

Overview

Two out of five deaths among U.S. teens are the result of a motor vehicle crash (CDC 2004).

Occurrence and Consequences

In 2002, more than 5,000 teens ages 16 to 19 died of injuries caused by motor vehicle crashes (CDC 2004).

The risk of motor vehicle crashes is higher among 16- to 19-year-olds than among any other age group. In fact, per mile driven, teen drivers ages 16 to 19 are four times more likely than older drivers to crash (IIHS 2005).

In 2003, teenagers accounted for 10 percent of the U.S. population and 13 percent of motor vehicle crash deaths (IIHS 2005).

The presence of teen passengers increases the crash risk of unsupervised teen drivers; the risk increases with the number of teen passengers (Chen 2000).
