A tank?

I was looking over some of the specs for a group of trailers being built that will be getting our PTS-2 alarm systems.

27,000 lb GVWR.

10,000 lb cargo bay capacity.

50 PSF roof rating.

Built to NFPA 1192 and National Electrical Code requirements.

These things are starting to sound less like trailers and more like tanks with wheels.

I get to see some pretty interesting projects in this business, and sometimes the specifications make me wonder what the finished trailers are actually going to be used for.

For this project, they chose our PTS-2 basic system instead of the G2.

And I’m perfectly good with that.

The PTS-2 still gives them door protection, movement detection, a 120 dB siren, flashing trailer lights and electric brake lockout. They simply don’t need the GPS and remote communication features of the G2.

It’s pretty cool that they chose Trailer-Alarms.com for the security side of the project.

Although, really…

What other choice did they have? 😁
