Blinking Lights

Quick guide to what your G2 GPS is trying to tell you.

COMM LED, orange
• Off = modem is off
• Slow blink = searching for signal
• Fast blink = network found
• Alternating solid and fast = registered, waiting on acknowledgment
• Solid = fully connected and talking

GPS LED, green
• Off = GPS is off
• Slow blink = GPS is on, still working
• Fast blink = syncing time
• Solid = locked in, good GPS fix

VBUS LED, red
• Off = no power
• On = powered up

If your COMM and GPS lights are not solid, your system is still trying to figure life out.

If all three are doing what they should, your unit is ready to do its job. Which is a lot more useful than blinking at you for attention.
