I learned a long time ago that if you can’t laugh at yourself when you do something stupid, you’re probably taking yourself too seriously.

Life throws enough serious stuff at us every day.

Sometimes you need to step back, take a breath, admit you messed up, and have a laugh about it.

I’ve made plenty of mistakes over the years. Some expensive. Some embarrassing. Most of them make for pretty good stories now.

If you can’t laugh at yourself once in a while, life gets heavy in a hurry.
