Over 21+ years in business, we’ve had four different demonstration trailers.

These trailers have traveled with us to trade shows and events so we can actually show people what our alarm systems do instead of standing there trying to explain the door sensors, flashing lights and siren.

Over the last five years, we’ve narrowed the fleet down to these two.

The larger trailer generally gets thrown in the vehicle when we drive to a show like PRI. We’ve been doing that for what seems like forever. It has more bells and whistles, is easier to see across a busy show floor, and does a good job of getting people to stop at the booth.

The smaller trailer has a different job.

When booth space is limited, or we’re flying somewhere and shipping our display, the little guy goes to work. We’ve shipped it to Las Vegas for a food truck show, and it even made the trip when we filmed Motorhead Garage in the studio.

And yes, there is a fully functioning trailer alarm system inside that little trailer too.

Which brings us to that old question…

Does size matter?

When it comes to protecting a trailer, not really. Big trailer or small trailer, the alarm still does its job.

But when you’re trying to get attention on a trade show floor?

Size matters.

The bigger one gets noticed. And at a trade show, getting noticed is half the battle.
