Done with Indiana?
Over the last three years, I’ve made a couple of trips to Indiana specifically to visit trailer manufacturers and dealers.
I don’t remember every company I’ve stopped at off the top of my head, but I’d need nearly all my fingers to count them.
Indiana has always made sense. It’s one of the major areas in the country for cargo trailer manufacturing, and I can usually work a race into the trip somewhere along the way. Even better if I can catch Ashton racing.
But it has me wondering if I should start branching out.
Should I revisit some of the manufacturers and dealers I’ve already met?
Go farther north of Indianapolis and spend more time in that part of Indiana?
Or start looking at other trailer-building areas around the country that I really haven’t spent much time exploring?
I know Indiana doesn’t have a monopoly on building trailers. It’s just where I’ve concentrated most of my efforts so far.
For those of you in the trailer industry, where would you go next?
I’m genuinely interested in specific areas, manufacturers or dealers that you think would be worth getting to know.
