Enclosure update
One of the biggest advantages of producing our own enclosures is that we can make improvements whenever we see an opportunity.
This latest revision is a good example.
We added an open area in each corner of the enclosure. It wasn’t done to reduce print time or save material. It was done to make installation easier.
In the past, we’ve seen installers struggle to locate the mounting holes or even drill their own access holes. With this change, the mounting locations are visible and much easier to reach.
It also gives us a place for chips to collect when we run the tap through the lid screw bosses during production. That helps keep the threads cleaner so the lid screws install the way they’re supposed to.
Most customers will never notice a small change like this.
But dozens of little improvements like these, made over the years, are one of the reasons our products continue to get better.
That’s one of the benefits of designing and building them ourselves.
