Experience counts

Very limited in what I feel comfortable showing from this business trip. There was a lot to see, but some things stay off social media.

One thing that stood out right away was the wiring. Every wire was purple. Sounds like a nightmare until you realize everything was properly labeled. Clean. Organized. Easy to troubleshoot later.

Another thing I noticed was the alarm enclosure being mounted with a level. I don’t see that very often. Small detail, but details matter when you care about the finished product instead of just getting out the door faster.

The guys I worked with appreciated me coming out on short notice to help guide them through the process. I’m not cheap. Never claimed to be. But they understood the value of experience and real-world knowledge.

What they learned during this trip will save them a lot of time, mistakes, and frustration on the rest of the units they build.

Sometimes paying for experience upfront is a lot cheaper than paying for problems later.
