Honesty
Share
I value honesty.
In life and in business.
Personally, I try to give people room.
Mistakes happen.
Emails get missed.
Spam filters exist.
That grace has limits.
In business, facts matter.
Systems log activity.
Records exist for a reason.
When something is sent, opened, and viewed, and the response is that it was never seen, that creates a problem.
Not a billing problem.
A trust problem.
I do not expect perfection.
I do expect truth.
The same applies outside of work.
I give people the benefit of the doubt.
I want to believe the best.
But when that stretch goes too far, I step away.
Trust is hard to build.
Easy to lose.
Almost impossible to rebuild once honesty is gone.
I choose to work with people who value straight answers.
That keeps things simple.
And it keeps relationships healthy.
