I try to live by the motto, “You get what you pay for.”

Every once in a while I ignore my own advice.

I recently saw an ad on social media for some pretty inexpensive stickers, so I figured I’d give them a try for our trailer warning labels.

Bad decision.

Within a couple of weeks they started curling up. The photo shows them clamped flat so I can still use them. Not exactly the time-saving bargain I was hoping for.

Sometimes saving a few dollars up front ends up costing more in wasted time, frustration, and having to buy the product a second time.

It’s a good reminder that the lowest price isn’t always the best value.

Lesson learned. I’ll be going back to the supplier that got it right the first time.
