Instagram followers
I was looking through my Instagram followers today and noticed something I hadn’t paid much attention to before.
I’ve only got about 1,275 followers, and I’m genuinely grateful for every one of them. Would I like more? Sure. Who wouldn’t?
What surprised me wasn’t my follower count. It was who some of those followers are.
I found that 49 of my followers each have more than 9,200 followers of their own.
Even more surprising, 6 of them have more than 100,000 followers. One has over 467,000.
What’s interesting is that none of those larger accounts follow anywhere near as many people as they have following them. Yet, for some reason, they chose to follow Trailer-Alarms.com.
I’m pretty confident it isn’t because of my good looks.
My guess is that we’re putting out content that’s useful enough to earn their attention.
That tells me something I’ve believed for a long time.
You don’t have to have the biggest audience to make an impact. You just have to consistently share information that people find worth coming back for.
Thanks to every one of you who follows along. I appreciate it more than you probably realize.
