Installing help
Installing one of our trailer alarm systems is not really that difficult, but I also understand that not everyone has the confidence to tackle it themselves.
Whether you’re installing our basic PTS-2 or the G2, the installation is pretty much the same.
One of the most important parts of the installation is the ground. These systems rely heavily on having a good, solid ground, so that is something we stress in our instructions.
We have quite a few resources available to help with the installation, including instructions, diagrams, and videos:

Take your time and look through the information. Watch the videos before you start. If you get into the installation and still aren’t sure about something, give us a call. We would much rather answer a question than have you guess.
Some people still don’t want to tackle the installation themselves. That’s fine too.
We have a couple of installers around the country that we can recommend. If they aren’t near you, check with a local trailer repair shop, automotive alarm installer, or even an electrician. Someone familiar with basic 12-volt wiring should be able to handle the installation.
The important part is getting it installed correctly so it’s ready to do its job when you need it.
