Social media

One question I get from time to time is why we post so much on social media.

There are several reasons.

First, I want people to see what actually goes on behind the scenes. The products we’re building. The changes we’re making. The people we work with. The racers and businesses we support. Running a small business is more than shipping boxes, and I think it’s worth sharing that process.

Second, brand recognition matters.

Trailer Alarms has been in business for more than 20 years, yet I still hear people say, “I didn’t know trailer security systems like yours even existed.”

That tells me we still have work to do.

The last reason is probably the most important.

Education.

Too many trailer owners don’t think about security until after something has been stolen. Thieves don’t care how many years you’ve spent building your business, your race team, or collecting the equipment inside your trailer. They see value. That’s all.

If our posts encourage someone to protect their trailer, ask their insurance company about possible discounts, or simply ask their trailer dealer why security isn’t offered as an option, then they’ve done exactly what they were intended to do.

If you’ve been following along, commenting, sharing posts, or recommending Trailer Alarms to someone else, thank you. Every conversation helps spread awareness that trailer theft is preventable, not just something owners have to accept.
