Some of the ways of how I protect my business.

Here is how I protect my business.

• Four cameras cover our build and shipping areas.
• Builds are recorded. Packing is recorded.
• Orders do not leave without documentation.
• Local deliveries are rare. When they happen, I take a photo of the person accepting the order.
• A signature is fine for some companies. I want photographic proof.

This photo is from a local delivery I did today.

The customer is a local business owner who recently had one of his trailers broken into. He did not wait around hoping it would not happen again. He acted immediately and is now securing the rest of his fleet.

That mindset matters.

All it takes is one liar, one false claim, or one chargeback to teach a painful lesson. When it happens, I adjust right away. Procedures change. Systems tighten.

Small businesses do not have cushions or legal teams on standby. You protect yourself or you learn the hard way.

I choose cameras, photos, and receipts over arguments and stories.

Boring systems beat excuses every time.
