Still kicking
There’s something pretty satisfying about helping a customer with an alarm system he bought from us 12 years ago.
I got a call today from a customer who purchased his system back in 2014.
He’s headed to Evansville, Indiana tomorrow for a race weekend and was having trouble with his key fobs. And apparently today seemed like the perfect time to figure that out.
Nothing like the 11th hour.
We spent about 45 minutes on the phone, sent some pictures back and forth, worked through the problem, and got everything functioning again.
Now he can head to the track knowing his trailer and race gear are protected.
This is one of the advantages of dealing with a small business.
There wasn’t a support ticket.
There wasn’t a “someone will get back to you tomorrow.”
There wasn’t a phone tree asking him to press 7 for something that had absolutely nothing to do with his problem.
He called. We worked through it. We got him going.
And I have to admit, seeing one of our systems from 2014 still out there doing its job isn’t too bad either.
Twelve years later, we’re still here to answer the phone.
