Some troubleshooting calls take hours.
Others take about ten seconds.
We worked with a company in Fort Wayne, Indiana that runs about eight of our systems across their trailers. One unit in a 12 foot trailer started acting up, so we walked through a few checks over the phone.
The fix ended up being simple.
Remove one jumper.
That small piece across the pins changed how the board behaved in that specific installation. Once it was removed, the system did what it was supposed to do.
This is also a good reminder.
Every trailer is a little different.
Every install environment is a little different.
Sometimes the solution is complex.
Sometimes it is just knowing which two pins should not be talking to each other.
Either way, we stay on the phone and work through it.
