Traveling

You run a business long enough and you end up in conversations that start like this.

“Hey, we have a project for you.”

Good start.

Then the location discussion begins.

They have 15 locations across the country.
Three are in Texas. Perfect. Easy trip.

Nope.

Someone mentions one near Orlando. Warm weather, Disney, not bad.

Nope.

Two locations in Indiana. Honestly not terrible this time of year.

Nope again.

Looks like this one will land in the middle of Georgia. About 100 miles south of Atlanta.

That’s the funny part about doing specialized work. You don’t always get to pick the easy locations. The projects that need the most attention are rarely the ones down the street.

So another “one of those” builds is getting lined up.
Another trailer. Another custom setup. Another system going somewhere that matters.

And apparently a road trip to rural Georgia.

Small business reality. You go where the work is.
