Weather does not care about your schedule. Your security system still has to work.

Here is how real conditions can affect a G2 and your trailer.
• Parking under metal buildings, overhangs, or dense structures can block GPS signals. The system still protects the trailer, but location updates can pause until it has a clear view of the sky.
• Heavy snow can weaken GPS reception. Same rule. Clear sky equals better signal.
• Snow and ice can cover solar panels. When that happens, solar charging drops or stops. Your battery becomes the only power source.
• Extreme cold reduces battery efficiency. This is physics being rude, not a product flaw.
• Moisture, ice buildup, and debris can cause problems for trailer wiring, brakes, and lighting.
Security systems are not the only thing affected.
What you should do.
• Avoid long term parking under metal structures when possible.
• Brush snow off solar panels after storms.
• Start with a healthy battery. Solar is a supplement, not magic.
• Inspect wiring and connections before winter and after bad weather.
• Treat security like maintenance, not an install and forget accessory.
The G2 is built for real world use. Real world conditions still apply. Knowing the limits keeps your trailer protected and your expectations grounded.
