People ask why Trailer-Alarms.com doesn’t push an app, and the answer is simple. It slows everything down.

We tried an app years ago. It worked, then Apple and Google started doing what they do best, forcing updates, moving requirements, and changing rules with zero warning. Every shift meant dropping what we were doing to rebuild screens, rewrite code, or chase down new certifications. All that energy was pulled away from what matters, the security systems that keep your trailer from disappearing.

We stepped back and looked at the bigger picture. An app sounds convenient, but it does not give you the power that a full web system gives you.

A phone app is a corner med clinic. You walk in, you get a couple basic services, and you’re out the door. It is limited, light, and restricted.
