Trailer Alarm with GPS Tracking Built for Theft Prevention

The G2 is a purpose built trailer security system. It is not a GPS tracker adapted after the fact. It is an alarm, immobilizer, and tracking system designed to stop trailer theft in real time.

Immediate theft response
When a theft attempt occurs, the G2 reacts instantly.

It will
• Flash the trailer running lights
• Sound a high output waterproof siren
• Apply the trailer’s electric brakes to prevent tow away theft

This is not a notification after the trailer is gone. This is active theft interruption.

System description
The system is housed in a rugged 10 x 7 x 2.5 inch enclosure.
The brake safety toggle switch is mounted inside the enclosure.
The GPS module operates on modern LTE cellular networks.

Power and battery recommendations
The system is designed to operate from an independent 12 volt battery.

Recommended options
• 12 volt deep cycle marine battery for extended runtime
• Group 24 lithium 12 volt battery works very well
• Solar panel with charge controller is strongly recommended

Estimated runtime
With a 1000 CA battery, typical runtime is approximately 2 to 3 months between charges, depending on usage and alerts.

Activation time is typically one business day.

How the system works
The PRO-TEC System monitors both movement and intrusion.

Trailer movement is detected by a built in accelerometer.
Door openings are detected by hardwired door switches.

When a trigger occurs
• The siren sounds
